(Danske Røde Kors Hæderstegn). Instituted in 1916. Hardshelled, with a glazed pebble-textured red exterior, gold-coloured rule trim along the perimeter edges on the convex lid, bright red bottom, maker marked "HOF OG ORDENS JUVELEER A. MICHELSEN KJOBENHAVEN" on the white satin inside lid, red velvet recessed medal bed, the hinge discreetly hidden under the exterior covering, push release, measuring 61 mm (w) x 75.5 mm (h) x 19 mm (d), light soiling on the inside lid, much of it due to sticker residue, near extremely fine.

Footnote: The Danish Red Cross Decoration was instituted on February 19, 1916 and awarded for services to the Danish Red Cross. The design for the award was changed in 1963.
