Commemoration of the Liberation 1940-1945. Silver, artist marked "H.S." (H. Salomon) on the obverse, measuring 15 mm (w) x 21.8 mm (h) each, dark patinas, original ribbon, one with a button hole attachment, extremely fine.

Footnote: King Christian X's Medal in Commemoration of the Liberation, also called the "Pro Dania Medal" (or the Medal of Liberty) was instituted on May 5, 1946 and bestowed upon some 3,100 persons who had rendered special services to Denmark during the German occupation.
