Italy, Kingdom. A Fascist Award Medal

In bronze gilt, obverse illustrating a large fasces, with a large eagle to the left and its wingspan extending behind the fasces to the right side, the eagle standing upon a branch of oak leaves, with the engraver's initials at the far right, reverse illustrating a plaque engraved "AL VICE Cs. / LOVERA GIACOMO / IL F.G.C.M. SONZINI / 23 MARZO XII", with a tree bearing laurel leaves behind, flanked by oak leaves on either side, measuring 28 mm in diameter, bruised, spotted, scattered gilt wear, very fine.
