A pair of Military Merit Medals, including a Medal with War Decoration, constructed of silver, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “SIGNUM LAUDIS” (“SIGN OF PRAISE”) inside of an oak and laurel leaf wreath, with crown suspension and period original tri-fold ribbon with clasp and magnetic metal hook and loop, unmarked, measuring 30.78 mm in diameter, weighing 26.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition, and; a late First War period medal, constructed of silver, the obverse with a raised rightward-facing profile of Karl I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “SIGNUM LAUDIS” (“SIGN OF PRAISE”) inside of an oak and laurel leaf wreath, with dual crown suspension and period original tri-fold ribbon with clasp and magnetic metal hook and loop, unmarked, measuring 30.56 mm in diameter, weighing 22.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition
