Hungary, Republic. An Order of Freedom, c.1946

Instituted in 1946. In silver with green enamels, type II with the green wreath on the obverse and the inscription "MAGYAR SZABADSÁGÉRT 1946" on the reverse, measuring 43 mm (w) x 45.5 mm (h), intact enamels, very light contact, on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.
