A gilded silver cross pattée with white-enamelled arms, obverse centre presenting a gilded monogram over a blue-enamelled background with clear radial under etchings, inside a gilded ring, surrounded by a ring of red enamel with the gilded motto EIN GOTT, EIN RECHT, EINE WAHRHEIT (ONE GOD, ONE RIGHTEOUSNESS, ONE TRUTH), the reverse centre presents a barrel hinge and narrow banjo-style pinback meeting an elongated round wire catch, maker marked on reverse of pin B. KNAUER, measuring 44.31 mm (w) x 45.53 mm (h), 19.2 grams, with 7 o'clock sword handle pressed inward, minor enamel wear, very fine.
