Germany, Imperial. A Pair of Wound Badges, Silver and Black Grades

(Verwundetenabzeichen). A pair of Wound Badges, including a Silver Grade, constructed of oval shaped silvered zink, hollow version, the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse plain with screw back version with large plate, measuring 38.87 mm (w) x 43.84 mm (h), and in very fine condition. A Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, hollow version, the obverse pebbled with a Stahlhelm in the centre superimposed on crossed swords within a wreath of laurel leaves with a tied bow at the bottom, the reverse plain with a vertical pinback, measuring 39.01 mm (w) x 43.77 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
