A bronze medal, the obverse centre depicts the embossed triumphal arch Arco dei Fileni of Brega, on either side is a swastika and fasces, under the arch is a Savoyard knot, all this is enclosed by the inscription ITALIENISCH DEUTSCHER FELDZUG IN AFRIKA and CAMPAGNA ITALO-TEDESCA IN AFRICA, each separated by laurel leaves and oak leaves, the reverse centre presents a pair of soldiers in antique costume, the left is a German soldier and the right a member of the Italian forces, together they stand over the claws of a raging crocodile symbolizing the British Army, engraved with DE MAROHIS and LORIOLI MILANO, measuring 30.76 mm in diameter, on a wide loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
