Instituted in 1881. Type II. In silver, type II with the bust of Prince Ferdinand I, engraver marked "A. SCHARFF" on the obverse, measuring 33.5 mm (w) x 41.2 mm (h) inclusive of its laterally-pierced ball suspension, very light contact, on its original peacetime triangular ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine.
