Germany, Heer. A Krim Shield

(Krimschild). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, consisting of a shield bearing a map of Krim (Crimea) topped by a Wehrmacht eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, flanked by dates “1941-1941”, the reverse with intact attachment prongs connecting the shield to a field-grey wool patch, the shield measuring 52 mm (w) x 62 mm (h), in near mint condition.
