Bavaria, Kingdom. A Cross for the Royal Bavarian 22nd Infantry Regiment

(Weltkriegs-Erinnerungskreuz des königlich-bayerischen 22. Infanterie-Regiments). A silver-plated white metal cross pattée, the obverse features the inscription FÜRST WILHELM VON HOHENZOLLERN (PRINCE WILHELM OF HOHENZOLLERN, with BAY. 22. J.R. on the 12 o’clock arm, with IN TREUE FEST! on the 6 o’clock arm, reverse presents smooth, plain, and unmarked, measuring 44.16 mm (w) x 48.22 mm (h), with a small eyelet attached to the 12 o’clock arm, on loop for suspension from metal bar, with period original ribbon on a horizontal pinback, and in overall good condition.
