A group of four Third Reich period medals, including an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silver zink, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the obverse with inscription “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), topped by a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 35.90 mm (w) x 44.26 mm (h), in very fine condition; a Black Grade Wound Badge, constructed of blackened bronze, vertical pinback, the obverse with a central Stahlhelm bearing a mobile swastika, on top of crossed swords over a pebbled background, within an oval laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 37.21 mm (w) x 44.37 mm (h), in very fine condition; a West Wall Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension, the obverse with a central pillbox topped by a crossed sword and shovel and a Wehrmacht-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, inside of an oval oak leaf wreath, the reverse with an inscription of “FÜR ARBEIT ZUM SCHUTZE DEUTSCHLANDS” (“FOR WORK IN THE DEFENCE OF GERMANY”), unmarked, measuring 33.12 mm (w) x 45.25 mm (h), in better than very fine condition, and; a Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse with two figures, with one clutching a flag and the other holding a length of broken chain, above a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with inscriptions of “1. OKTOBER 1938” and “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), unmarked, measuring 32.11 mm in diameter, in good condition.
