Prussia, Kingdom. A General Honour Decoration, Silver Grade, with “50” Year Clasp

(Allgemeines Ehrenzeichen mit Jubiläumszahl “50”). Constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with the monogram of Kaiser Friedrich Wilhelm III, the reverse with an inscription of “VERDIENST UM DEN STAAT” (“SERVICE TO THE STATE”) within a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 39.09 mm in diameter, weighing 29.7 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in extremely fine condition.
