December 1873” within a laurel and oak wreath, unmarked, measuring 36.15 mm in diameter, weighing 25.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a Military Merit Medal, Gold Grade, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with inscription of “SIGNUM LAUDIS” (“SIGN OF PRAISE”), unmarked, measuring 31.17, weighing 22.3 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Bravery Medal, Second Class, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Charles I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FORTITUDINI” (“BRAVERY”) above crossed flags and within a laurel wreath, measuring 40.24 mm in diameter, weighing 20.5 grams, in very fine condition, and; a Wound Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Charles I, topped by Latin name and above laurel leaf branches, the reverse with an inscription of “LAESO MILITI MCMXVIII” (“TO THE WOUNDED SOLDIER 1918”), the obverse maker marked “R. Placht”, measuring 38.03 mm in diameter, weighing 24.2 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
