Mecklenburg-Schwerin, Grand Duchy. A Military Merit Cross, I Class, c.1935

(Militär-Verdienstkreuz I. Klasse). A cross constructed of gilded bronze, consisting of a cross pattée with ribbed arms, the obverse with central initials FF, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the six o’clock arm with a date of 1914, the reverse with a principle vertical pin assembly, unmarked, measuring 41.00 mm (w) x 40.81 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
