A Cross Pattée of multi-piece construction, with a blackened magnetic iron core within a ribbed silver border, the obverse with a raised central mobile swastika with the re-institution date “1939” in raised numbering on the lower arm, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked with code “20” for C.F. Zimmermann, Pforzheim, measuring 44.27 mm (w) x 44.35 mm (h), weighing 17.1 grams, in better than very fine condition.
