Germany, Third Reich. A Horse Driver’s Badge, Bronze Grade, by Steinhauer & Lück

(Deutsche Fahrer-Abzeichen). An oval badge in bronze, consisting of a man driving a chariot pulled by two horses, surrounded by an oak leaf wreath with a Roman letter R in a circle at the base, the reverse presents a vertical pinback, with a barrel hinge and flat wire catch, maker marked STEINHAUER & LÜCK, LÜDENSCHEID, measuring 40.36 mm (w) x 50.21 mm (h), and in very fine condition.
