A group of three Third Reich period badges, including an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross with blue and white enameled arms, the obverse with a central medallion depicting a black swastika on a white enameled background, surrounded by bronze inscription of “DER DEUTSCHEN MUTTER” (“THE GERMAN MOTHER”), with radiant designs between the arms of the cross, the reverse with an etched institution date of “16. Dezember 1939” and a facsimile of the Führer, measuring 36 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in very fine condition; a First Class Civil Service Faithful Service Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a central black swastika, with oak leaves joining the quadrants of the cross, the reverse with an inscription of “Für treue Dienste” (“For Faithful Service”), unmarked, measuring 41.5 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in extremely fine condition, and; an Air Raid Defence Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central mobile swastika circumscribed by inscription “FÜR VERDIENSTE IM LUFTSCHUTZ” (“FOR SERVICE IN AIR DEFENCE”) inside of an oak leaf wreath, the reverse with a raised date of “1938”, unmarked, measuring 38.5 mm in diameter, in very fine condition.
