Constructed of blackened bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original bowtie-style ribbon, consisting of a Ruppert Cross, the obverse with a central leftward-facing profile of Ludwig III, the reverse with a central date of “7.I.1916”, measuring 40 mm (w) x 46 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
