A visor cap constructed of bluish-grey midwar grade wool, featuring a traditional high peak crown with officer’s piping along the crown consisting of four strands of interwoven silver aluminum bullion wires, running along the crown of the cap, as well as the top and bottom edges of the cap band, the cap band itself is constructed of black interwoven fabric, and is completely free of bumps, holes, or signs of tampering, the insignia of the cap consists of an officer’s cap eagle, constructed of rolled and twisted silver aluminum bullion wires in the shape of an eagle clutching a mobile swastika in its talons, as well as a winged wreath with a national tri-coloured cockade in the center, also consisting of fine quality rolled, flat, and twisted silver aluminum bullion wires, both insignia are perfectly centered on the front of the cap and appear to be original to the cap, the visor is constructed of Vulkanfiber, with a molded raised ridge running long the brim, it is lacquered in glossy black on the obverse, and is coloured in green on the underside, remaining firmly attached to the cap, the chin cord consists of a main cord crafted of multiple thick strands of twisted bullion chords, as well as two sliders constructed of four strands of thin twisted bullion cord, and is attached to either side of the cap via a silvered pebbled magnetic button, the interior of the cap is lined in a champagne-coloured silk fabric, the crown portion of the cap also features a clear celluloid diamond that is embossed PEKÜRO STIRNDRUCKFREI DEUTSCHES REICHSPATENT, stitched in place using light brown thread, with a piece of paper below marked with size 58, towards the edge of the cap is also a brown leather sweatband, measuring 23.5 cm (w) x 24 cm (l) x 17 cm (h), this cap exhibits light signs of use but remains in overall near extremely fine condition.
