Germany, NSDAP. A Large Golden Party Badge by Deschler & Sohn (75987)

(Goldenes Ehrenzeichen der NSDAP). Constructed of gilded tombak with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse with a central black mobile swastika on a bed of white enamel, with a red enameled edge inscribed “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), inside a gilt laurel wreath, the reverse with a horizontal pinaback, marked with NSDAP member number “75987” and maker “Deschler & Sohn, München”), measuring 30.46 mm in diameter, weighing 12.3 grams, minor flecking of enamels evident, otherwise in extremely fine condition.
