In silver gilt with red enamels, maker marked "WHT", hallmarked with the British lion, marked with a leopard's head (made in London), date marked "d" (1919) and marked "_OYER & Co LONDON" on the reverse, measuring 39 mm (w) x 42.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral ring, original ribbon suspended from an ornate silver hanger with vertical stickpin, scattered gilt wear, light contact, intact enamels, near extremely fine. In its hardshelled case of issue, white silk lined on the inside lid, navy blue velvet medal bed, wear evident on the exterior and in the fabric overlying the two hinged areas on the interior, case fine.
