Estonia, Republic. A Defence Force Badge, by Roman Tavast

(Български Червенъ Кръстъ). Instituted in 1918. Type II. In silver with red and white enamels, measuring 33 mm in diameter, chipping evident in the white enamels on the obverse centrepiece, on its original triangular ribbon with hook and eye, near extremely fine. In its cardboard box of issue, marked with a cross within a circle above the inscription "БЪЛГАРСКИ ЧЕРВЕНЪ КРЪСГТЪ" in gold-coloured ink, paper lined on the inside lid, black felt recessed medal bed, extensive wear and soiling on the exterior, tear in the paper lining on the inside lid, box poor.
