Estonia, Republic. A Defence Badge for Sports by Roman Tavast

Constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse with a central blue enameled shield bearing silvered oak leaves, on top of crossed swords, topped and flanked by silvered stars, the reverse with a screwback apparatus and plate, maker marked “Roman Tavast, Tallinn”, measuring 27.86 mm in diameter, weighing 15.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
