A Luftwaffe tropical breast eagle, constructed of a tan-coloured cotton backer bearing a machine-embroidered silver-grey Luftwaffe eagle clutching a mobile swastika, unmarked, measuring 90 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in uniform-removed and very fine condition, and; a postcard depicting a black-and-white photograph of Luftwaffe fighter ace Hans-Joachim Marseille, taken in a studio and wearing his Knight’s Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords, with a caption of “Oberleutnant Marseille” at the bottom right, the reverse marked “Photo-Hoffmann, München, Friedrichstr. 34”, with a stamp frame marked “Echte Fotografie”, unused and unissued, measuring 90 mm (w) x 140 mm (h), in near mint condition.
