Constructed of gilded bronze, the obverse consisting of a central Ruppert Cross bearing a central Bavarian coat of arms, topped by a royal crown and flanked by stylized Bavarian lions rampant, above a banner inscribed “In treue Fest” (“Steadfast in Loyalty”), the reverse with central adornment’s four attachment prongs visible, with two screws for attachment, unmarked, measuring 138 mm (w) x 103 mm (h), minor tarnishing evident, otherwise in near extremely fine condition.
