Two-piece construction, in bronze gilt with red, orange, green, blue and black enamels, the centrepiece illustrating the Silesian coat-of-arms on a blue background, the centrepiece ring inscribed "ZEMSKA HASICSKA JEDNOTA SLEZSKA / ZA ZASLUHY", the centrepiece surrounded by sixteen linden leaves and surmounted by a fireman's helmet, measuring 45.5 mm (w) x 60.5 mm (h) inclusive of its integral suspension, intact enamels, very light contact, original ribbon, near extremely fine.
