(Plakette für Reichssieger im Handwerker-Wettkampf 1939). Constructed of blackened magnetic iron, the obverse with a central German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, with three figures under its wings holding a banner inscribed “GROSSDEUTSCHLAND” (“GREATER GERMANY”), circumscribed by inscriptions “HANDWERKERWETTKAMPF 1939” (“CRAFTSMEN COMPETITION 1939”) and “DEM REICHSSIEGER” (“NATIONAL CHAMPION”), the reverse with a wire hanger, marked on the reverse with the logos of Hüttenamt Gleiwitz and HAG, measuring 165 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
