Germany, Third Reich. An Eagle Merit Medal with Swords Document to Spanish Corporal Don Alejandro Sampedro, c.1939

An award document constructed of card stock, stating that Cabo (Corporal) Don Alejandro Sampedro received the Order of the German Eagle Merit Medal with Swords on 5 June 1939, presenting the facsimile signature of Otto Meissner in blue ink, measuring 21 cm (w) x 29.7 cm (h), accompanied by original cream-coloured folder with a gold-embossed eagle on the front cover, measuring 22 cm (w) x 30.2 cm (h), presents minor scuffing, and in overall near extremely fine condition.
