A silver, white-enameled, double Maltese cross, with ball finials, presenting green-enamelled laurel leaves between the arms, the obverse centre in Gold, presenting the bust of Henry IV, bordered by a ring of blue enamel, inscribed HENRI IV ROI DE FRANCE ET DE NAVARRE, the reverse centre presents three fleur de lys, circumscribed by a ring of blue enamel, inscribed HONNEUR ET PATRIE, measuring 30.43 mm (w) x 49.03 mm (h - inclusive of crown), weighing 10.8 grams, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon with rosette, presenting chipping to enamels on arms, and in near very fine condition.
