(NSDAP Gauleiter Schirmmütze). A visor cap constructed of tan-coloured webbed fabric, with a traditional high-peak and red piping along the top of the crown, above, and below the cap band, the cap band itself is constructed of khaki-coloured doeskin wool, the insignia of the cap consists of a gilded NSDAP cap eagle, with a gilt wreath and separate cockade, the eagle is constructed of gilded bronze and is in the shape of a standard German national eagle, with outstretched wings, clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the wreath is constructed of gilded aluminum, consisting of multiple oak leaves with a pebbled finish, the cockade is a standard political tri-colour cockade with a black-enamelled swastika in the centre, surrounded by a red-enamelled ring, the visor is constructed of dark-brown vulkanfibre, with a raised ridge along the edge, with a rusty-brown reverse, the chin cord is constructed of a synthetic golden threading, consisting of a main cord crafted of multiple thick strands of twisted bullion cords, as well as two sliders constructed of four strands of thin twisted bullion cord, and is attached to either side of the cap via a gilded pebbled metal (magnetic) button, the interior of the cap is lined with a light brown fabric liner, missing its celluloid maker’s diamond stitched into the centre of the interior, on the edge of the cap is a tan-coloured faux leather sweatband that is perforated towards the front, measuring 24.8 mm (w) x 26 mm (l) x 16 mm (h), gently worn depicting mild signs of wear mostly to the interior, and in extremely fine condition.
