An extensive First War period Austro-Hungarian medal bar featuring seven decorations, including a Silver Bravery Medal, II Class, constructed of silver, the obverse depicting a rightward-facing profile of Karl I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with inscription of “FORTITUDINI” (“BRAVERY”) within a laurel branch wreath and above crossed standards, on a loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, designer marked on the obverse “Kautsch”, measuring 40.46 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.

A Bronze Bravery Medal, constructed of bronze, the obverse depicting a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an of an inscription of “DER TAPFERKEIT” (“FOR BRAVERY”) within a laurel branch wreath and above crossed standards, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, unmarked, measuring 31.29 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.

A Karl Troop Cross, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a laurel wreath through the quadrants, the obverse with an inscription of “VITAM ET SANGVINEM” (“WITH LIFE AND BLOOD”) and a date of “1916” in Roman numerals, topped by Austrian and Hungarian royal crowns, the reverse with an inscription of “GRATI PRINCEPS ET PATRIA, CAROLVS IMP.ET REX” (“A GRATEFUL PRINCE AND COUNTRY, KARL, EMPEROR AND KING”), unmarked, measuring 29.26 mm (w) x 32.47 mm (h), in very fine condition.

An Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with clasp, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with dates of “1914-1918” inside of a laurel wreath, with crossed swords through the centre of the cross, the reverse with a maker’s mark of “BCO”, measuring 37.12 mm (w) x 41.64 mm (h), in very fine condition.

A War Service Medal 1873, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with a central date of “2. December 1873” inside of a laurel and oak leaf wreath, unmarked, measuring 36.20 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.

A Hungarian First War Commemorative Medal, constructed of silvered bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a Hungarian coat of arms on top of crossed swords, the reverse with a central Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) above dates of “1914-1918”, topped by an inscription of “PRO DEO ET PATRIA” (“FOR GOD AND COUNTRY”), within a laurel wreath, measuring 36.79 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.

A Bulgarian First War Commemorative Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a Bavarian coat of arms on top of crossed swords, within a laurel and oak leaf wreath, the reverse with dates of “1915-1918” inside of a floral wreath, unmarked, measuring 32.07 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition; all set on a 140 mm-long magnetic metal bar with a horizontal pinback, unmarked, in extremely fine condition.
