(Drittes Reich Abzeichen). A group of three Third Reich period medals, including a War Merit Cross, II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross, the obverse with a central wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a wreathed central date of “1939”, with crossed swords piercing the centre of the cross, unmarked, measuring 48 mm (w) x 49 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition; a Sudetenland Medal, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with two raised figures, one of which is holding a flag while the other clutches a length of broken chain, above a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swasika, the reverse with a central date of “1. Oktober 1938” circumscribed by an inscription of “Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer” (“One people, one national, one leader”), measuring 32 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition, and; an Honour Cross of the German Mother, Bronze Grade, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Latin Cross, the obverse with blue and white enameled arms, with a central black swastika on a white enameled background, circumscribed by an inscription of “Der Deutschen Mutter” (“The German Mother”), with radiant designs between the quadrants, the reverse with an institution date of “16. Dezember 1938” and a facsimile of the Führer, unmarked, measuring 35 mm (w) x 45 mm (h), in near very fine condition.
