Yugoslavia, Republic. A Pilot's Badge in Solid 18Kt Gold. by IKOM Zagreb

(Oznaka Pilota). Badge in die struck solid GOLD and enameled star, 53.2mm x 40.1mm, marked on reverse IKOM (IKOM Zagreb), along with "750" (for 18 Karat Gold), also marked with Yugoslav 18kt. Gold stamp, badge weighs 21.6 grams, in extremely fine condition and extremely rare. Footnote: issued very seldom to exceptional pilots or highest ranking Air Force Officers. It is believed only 25 badges in 18kt. Gold have been awarded circa 1970.
