Germany, Third Reich. A Pair of Proficiency Badges

(Leistungsabzeichen). A pair of Third Reich period proficiency badges, including a German Air Sports Association (DLV) Class “B” Glider Badge, constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, boutonniere-style, the reverse with an issue number of “14364”, otherwise unmarked, measuring 22 mm in diameter, in very fine condition, and; a 1941 Silver Grade Shooting Badge, constructed of silvered bronze with multi-coloured enamels, horizontal pinback, the obverse consisting of a Tirol-style red enameled eagle clutching a target overlaid by a swastika, flanked by a black enameled date of “1941”, above an inscription of “KLEINKALIBER” (“SMALL CALIBRE”), measuring 40 mm in diameter, in near extremely fine condition.
