Germany, NSDAP. A NSDAP District Leader Armband

(NSDAP Ärmelband). A Kreisleiter (District Leader) armband constructed of red wool, the centre obverse presents an embroidered black swastika bordered in golden-yellow thread, with a gilded metal rank pip in the centre attached by two prongs, over a white rayon blend circular field, also bordered in golden-yellow thread, with a 20 mm wide golden oak leaves centre stripe bordered by two 1 mm gold stripes top and bottom, with a 2 mm gold stripe at the outer top and bottom edge, edge is piped in white, measuring 21.5 cm (w) x 13 cm (h) when folded, and in extremely fine condition.
