A group of four Third Reich period medals, including an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central dates “1914-1918” within a laurel wreath, with crossed swords through the centre of the cross, the reverse marked “G17”, measuring 37.48 mm (w) x 42.58 mm (h), weighing 16.2 grams, in extremely fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918 for Non-Combatants, constructed of blackened magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central dates “1914-1918” within a laurel wreath, the reverse marked “D.S.M.”, measuring 38.01 mm (w) x 41.64 mm (h), weighing 13.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition; a War Merit Cross II Class with Swords, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central mobile swastika inside of an oak wreath, the reverse with a central date of “1939” inside of an oak leaf wreath, with crossed swords through the centre of the cross, unmarked, measuring 48.69 mm (w) x 48.25 mm (h), weighing 25.8 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a central Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”), topped by a Stahlhelm (Steel Helmet) and stick grenade, unmarked, measuring 36.14 mm (w) x 44.61 mm (h), weighing 19.1 grams, in better than very fine condition.
