Germany, Weimar. A Silesian Eagle, II Class

(Schlesischer Adler, II. Klasse). Constructed of blackened magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse consisting of a Silesian Eagle overlaid by silvered crescent and cross, clutching a silvered banner with a raised inscription of “FÜR SCHLESIEN” (“FOR SILESIA”), measuring 31.56 mm (w) x 46.53 mm (h), weighing 19.8 grams, in better than very fine condition.
