A group of Third Reich period commemorative medals, including an Eastern Front Medal, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with a Heer-style German national eagle clutching a swastika, the reverse with an inscription of “WINTERSCHLACHT IM OSTEN 1941/42” (“WINTER BATTLE IN THE EAST 1941/42”) above a crossed sword and laurel branch, unmarked, measuring 35.90 mm (w) x 44.90 mm (h), in very fine condition; an Anschluss of Austria Medal, constructed of silvered zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, the obverse with two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central date of “13. MÄRZ 1938” circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), measuring 32.16 mm in diameter, in very fine condition, and; a Sudetenland Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with horizontal pinback, the obverse with two raised figures, one of which is clutching a flag and the other a length of broken chain, above a NSDAP-style German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, the reverse with a central date of “1 OKTOBER 1938” circumscribed by an inscription of “EIN VOLK, EIN REICH, EIN FÜHRER” (“ONE PEOPLE, ONE NATION, ONE LEADER”), measuring 32.04 mm in diameter, in extremely fine condition.
