Germany, HJ. A HJ Kameradschaftsführer’s Twill Blouse

(HJ/DJ-Köperbluse). A brown-shirt pattern blouse, known as a twill blouse, constructed of a waist-length jacket with fall-down collar, two pleated breast pockets with buttoned angled flaps, and buttoned fold-back cuffs, the front closure has a brown sew-on button at the waistband and a period replacement button at the neck, and three brown plastic buttons, presenting the design of interwoven leather and bearing the letters HJ and DJ, down the front, the waistband presents five metal hooks, while at the back is a brown cloth belt loop in the centre. The left arm bears several cloth insignia, including an HJ armband, of three-piece construction, red rayon with a central white horizontal stripe, with a white diamond with a machine-woven black mobile swastika. Also, a district triangle for Mitte Sachsen, constructed of machine-woven black rayon in the shape of an isosceles triangle featuring a machine-woven Gothic script in two lines, in golden-yellow threads, with a narrow machine-woven golden-yellow border stripes near the outside edge, measuring 89 mm (w) x 46 mm (h). The left arm also bears a Class A Motor Qualification badge, constructed of pink wool, with a machine-embroidered, eight spoke steering wheel in silver-grey threads, measuring 46 mm in diameter. The right arms presents a sleeve insignia for a flag bearer, in a shield-shaped insigne, depicting a stylized eagle clutching a red and white HJ diamond, on a black field, machine-woven in white thread with the diamond in red and white, measuring 72 mm (w) x 77 mm (h). Each shoulder presents a sew-on shoulder strap, constructed of loosely woven black rayon, featuring bright red rayon piping and machine embroidered Bann numerals 101 also in bright red threads, with single rank pip for the rank of Kameradschaftsführer (Comrade Unit Leader) (missing on left shoulder), attached by silver metal buttons to secure the shoulder straps to the shoulders, for HJ members with raised Gefolgschaft number 4 in Arabic numbers, each measuring 36 mm (w) x 100 mm (h). The blouse measures 43.5 cm across the shoulders, 61 cm length in the sleeves, and 55.5 cm in total length. The blouse presents moderate soiling and is in overall very fine condition.
