Germany, Federal Republic. A Panzer Assault Badge, Silver Grade for 25 Engagements, 1957 Reissue

(Panzerkampfabzeichen in Silber mit Einsatzzahl 25). Constructed of silvered and patinated bronze, the obverse consisting of an oval oak leaf wreath, joined at the bottom by a plaque with a number “25”, with a central Panzer IV with its treads extending beyond the wreath, the reverse with a barrel hinge and narrow banjo-style pinback meeting a flat wire catch, unmarked, measuring 45.81 mm (w) x 54.75 mm (h), weighing 30.3 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
