Württemberg, Kingdom. A 21-Year Long and Devoted Service Cross, II Class

(Dienst-Ehrenzeichen II. Klasse für 21 Dienstjahre). Constructed of silver with enamels, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Maltese Cross with pebbled arms, the obverse with a central monogram of Wilhelm II within a green enameled laurel wreath, the reverse with central crossed swords circumscribed by an inscription “FÜR TREUE DIENSTE” (“FOR LOYAL SERVICE”), measuring 33.38 mm (w) x 37.56 mm (h), weighing 12.7 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
