The card was issued by the Reichsluftschutzbund (National Air Raid Protection League) regional group Silesia, district of Liegnitz (present-day Legnica, southwestern Poland), local group of Glogau (present-day Głogów). The owner is member no. 1618, Mr. Artur Nippe, born April 23, 1894. He joined the organisation in 1934. Measuring 127 mm (w) x 109 mm (h), with some scuffing and creasing, especially at the top, remains near very fine.
