A group of six Austrian badges and medals, including a Franz Joseph I 60th Jubilee Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I, the reverse with raised dates of “1848-1908” with laurel branches through the quadrants, unmarked, measuring 35.89 mm (w) x 41.18 mm (w), measuring 28.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.

An 1898 Jubilee Medal in Bronze, constructed of bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original ribboned, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “SIGNUM MEMORIAE” (“SIGN OF REMEMBRANCE”) within a laurel and oak wreath topped by dates “1848-1898” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 34.19 mm in diameter, weighing 22.3 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.

An 1898 Jubilee Medal in Silver, constructed of zink, on loop for suspension from its period original ribboned, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “SIGNUM MEMORIAE” (“SIGN OF REMEMBRANCE”) within a laurel and oak wreath topped by dates “1848-1898” in Roman numerals, unmarked, measuring 34.96 mm in diameter, weighing 20.8 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in better than very fine condition.

A Commemorative Cross for Mobilization 1912-1913, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central dates “1912-1913”, the reverse plain, unmarked, measuring 35.42 mm (w) x 37.21 mm (h), weighing 16.6 grams (inclusive of ribbon), in near extremely fine condition.

A 1916 Iron Cross of Merit, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, consisting of a Ruppert Cross, the obverse with a central monogram of Franz Joseph I circumscribed by an inscription of “VIRIBUS UNITIS” (“UNITED FORCES”), the reverse with a central date of “1916” within a laurel wreath, unmarked, measuring 35.04 mm (w) x 39.13 mm (h), weighing 13.4 grams, in very fine condition.

A Bravery Medal in Silver, constructed of silver, on loop for suspension from its period original tri-fold ribbon, the obverse with a rightward-facing profile of Charles I circumscribed by name and title, the reverse with an inscription of “FORTITUDINI” (“BRAVERY”) within a laurel wreath and above crossed standards, the obverse maker marked “KAUTSCH”, measuring 31.08 mm in diameter, weighing 20.0 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
