(Ehrenzeichen des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes 1937 Verdienstkreuz mit Etui). Constructed of gilded bronze with multi-coloured enamels, consisting of a Geneva Cross, the obverse with white enameled arms, with a central black-enameled German national eagle clutching a gilt wreath with a mobile swastika, overlaid by a Red Cross insignia, the reverse with a barrel hinge and banjo-style pinback meeting a round wire catch, unmarked, measuring 51.68 mm (w) x 51.71 mm (h), weighing 33.9 grams, accompanied by its period original presentation case, constructed of heavy card stock with a faux red leather exterior, the interior with a blue satin lid liner and intact hinge cover, with a slotted blue velvet medal bed, opening with a functional metal spring catch with exterior stud release and a functional magnetic metal hinge, unmarked, measuring 75 mm (w) x 75 mm (l) x 25 mm (h), in near extremely fine condition.
