Constructed of bronze with multi-coloured enamels, the obverse consisting of a white enameled disk inscribed “KREISSIEGER 1939” (“REGIONAL WINNER 1939”), within a laurel wreath, overlaid by a German national eagle clutching a cog wheel, in turn bearing a HJ insignia in the form of a red and white enameled diamond with a central black mobile swastika, the reverse with a ball hinge and vertical pinback meeting a flat wire catch, maker marked “A.G. THAM, GABLONZ”, measuring 48.95 mm (w) x 48.02 mm (h), weighing 27.6 grams, in near extremely fine condition.
