Germany, Wehrmacht. A Clasp to the 1939 Iron Cross II Class, Type II

(Spange zum Eisernen Kreuz). Constructed of silvered tombak, consisting of a German national eagle clutching a wreathed mobile swastika, above a trapezoid base bearing a date of “1939”, the reverse with all four attachment prongs intact, unmarked, measuring 30.40 mm (w) x 30.72 mm (h), weighing 7.4 grams, in better than very fine condition.
