Prussia, Kingdom. A Commemorative Medal of 1863

(Erinnerungsdenkmünze von 1863). Constructed of bronzed magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period correct replacement ribbon, the obverse with a leftward-facing profile of Friedrich Wilhelm III circumscribed by name and title, above dates “1813, 1814, 1815”, the reverse with a central monogram of Wilhelm I, above laurel and oak branches and topped by a date og “17 MÄRZ 1863”, unmarked, measuring 29.06 mm in diameter, weighing 12.5 grams, in better than very fine condition.
