Württemberg, Kingdom. A Long Service Decoration, I Class Bronze Medal for 12 Years

(Dienstauszeichnungen). Instituted on 9 September 1833. Type VI. (1913-1921 Issue). A circular gilded silver medal, the obverse centre presents the crown of Württemberg within a circular laurel wreath, the reverse centre inscribed in Gothic characters FÜR TREUE DIENSTE BEI DER FAHNE (FOR LOYAL SERVICE UNDER THE FLAG), above the Roman numeral XII (12), measuring 29.98 mm in diameter, on loop for suspension from period original ribbon, and in very fine condition.
