A group of four Imperial German medals, including a 1914 Iron Cross II Class, constructed of brass and silver, consisting of a Cross Pattée with a blackened brass core within a ribbed silver frame, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon with a bronze backplate and horizontal pinback, the obverse with a central initial “W”, the six o’clock arm with a reinstitution date of “1914”, the twelve o’clock arm with a royal crown, the reverse with three central oak leaves, the six o’clock arm with an initial institution date of “1813”, the twelve o’clock arm with initials “FW” topped by a royal crown, unmarked, measuring 42.89 mm (w) x 46.81 mm (h), weighing 17.8 grams, in near extremely fine condition; an Honour Cross of the World War 1914/1918, constructed of magnetic metal, on loop for suspension from its period original ribbon, consisting of a Cross Pattée, the obverse with central dates “1914-1918” inside of a laurel wreath, with crossed swords piercing the centre, the reverse maker marked, measuring 37.78 mm (w) x 42.63 mm (h), weighing 14.0 grams, in extremely fine condition; a Kaiser Wilhelm I 100th Birthday Medal, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, unmarked, measuring 40.05 mm in diameter, weighing 31.6 grams, in extremely fine condition, and; a War Commemorative Medal 1914/1918 of the Kyffhäuser League, constructed of gilded bronze, on loop for suspension, the obverse maker marked “HOSAEUS”, measuring 30.76 mm (w) x 47.38 mm (h), weighing 17.9 grams, in extremely fine condition.
